Detective Abby

Please read the gameplay. ALSO there is a game breaking bug, if you reach the 2nd level, it seems it won't be possible to proceed. After the 2nd level the gam would be over since you unlock randomized mode.

My submission game for the Acerola Jam 0.

The game is about the young detective, Abby, who receives requests about strange things going on in peoples houses/residences. Apparently there have been aberrations sighted, that being strange anomalies that mysteriously occurred.

Abby goes over to the area of interest and uses her camera to correct aberrations back to normal.

Please have mercy, I have not slept for 2 days, and read the description for context since I did not put that in the game.

Gameplay:

Press E to interact with objects that contain a floating question mark above them. 

Interact with the phone to receive requests, once a request is received it will appear on your requests list (hold TAB to view, including your score that gets updated whenever you finish a quest).

Head over to the door to exit Abby's apartment and to start the request.

Press F to use the camera to inspect aberrations (anything outside of normal essentially).

Check the Lexicon in ESC, will give you information on an aberration the moment you look at it, with your camera. The lexicon will include an explanation as to what to what it is and it's weakness.

Movement:

Use WASD to move the player

Use the mouse to rotate the camera

Use F to use Abby's special camera against Aberrations

Use E to interact with objects.

Use scroll wheel to either zoom in or out

Use Tab to check requests
